  2. Bre, analizarea si imbunatatirea unui site e o chestie destul de complexa si nu foarte simpla. Ai de verificat in principiu, asa: - incarcarea masinii, resurse hardware (RAM, statistici pe mediul de stocare, procesor) - configurarea web serverului - configurarea pentru modulul PHP - configurarea serverului SQL - configurarea CMS-ului pe care-l folosesti - optimizarea tabelelor din SQL - optimizarea query-urilor din site - instalare ceva modul de caching (APC sau eAccelerator) si abia dupa asta incepe carnavalul
  3. Intr-adevar va fi viata nitel mai grea, dar nu inseamna ca detectoarele vor deveni inutile. Unda tot trebuie s-o emita, si un detector sensibil o va simti cel putin atunci cand e indreptata spre ala din fata ta asa ca in continuare va functiona mersul "la iepure".

  5. Bre, p-asta nu-l gasesc ca model separat, adica exista doar Pajero cu 3.2 DID sau 3.0 V6. Presupun ca nu vorbesti de Pajero Pinin, ca ala pare a fi alta mancare de peste. Le-am vazut, sunt chiar ieftine (11500 + TVA in varianta de varf, cu navigatie+piele+senzori ploaie/faruri+incalzire scaune+trapa+scaune electrice). Nu stiu ce dracu' sa zic, sunt cam reticent la o masina chinezeasca. A avut un face-lift in 2005, cand s-au introdus un motor nitel mai rafinat si ceva imbunatatiri estetice. De asta mi-e si mie frica, pare a fi cam "din topor" si totusi va vedea destul de mult asfaltul. Posesorii insa sunt incantati de ea 1.8 benzina cica e de evitat, are probleme de proiectare si arde garnituri de chiulasa, deci ramane doar dizalu'. Problema e insa service + intretinere, n-am gasit decat pareri de rau (spre extrem de rau) despre intretinerea la marca asta. Outback e deja break inaltat, asa pot sa iau Octavia de sindicalist cu pachet de drumuri grele Rav4 are recenzii foarte bune, Foresterul vechi imi placea si imi place; raman astea 2 SH, sau Jimny nou. Urmeaza testele ... cand oi apuca desi cred ca cea mai buna metoda de testare va fi sa inchiriez un model din fiecare timp de 1-2 saptamani si sa vad cum ma-nteleg cu respectivele.

    Offtopic, si ca sustinere pentru Uscatu': bre, cei care tot sustineti "vai, n-ai auto-leveling, ce oroare" - circulati noaptea ? Aveti idee cati umbla cu farurile (normale, halogene) reglate sa bata-n pomi ? cati umbla cu proiectoare de offroad, cu halogene de putere mai mare decat e permis, samd samd ? Omul a zis ca le are reglate, sa nu fim mai catolici decat papa. Mi-e mult mai groaza de 2x100 W dereglate pe un SUV de neam prost, decat de un xenon reglat si fara auto-leveling. Intr-adevar, daca faci greseala sa te uiti direct intr-un far cu xenon te chioraste (fata de unul cu halogen), dar n-ar trebui sa te uiti in farurile de pe contrasens oricum
  7. Outback/Tiguan/Qashqai sunt crossovere, nu au treaba cu offroadul. CRV e o magaoaie fada fara nici un fel de aroma, am condus o luna, nu mersi. De la Honda era (este) interesant HRV-ul.
  8. Arata bine, imi place, corespunde, da' 90% din ce-am gasit sunt 3.2 diesel si e cam inutil de mare. La Rav4 am inteles ca 4x4 ala e mai mult ca sa fie acolo, n-ar fi tocmai adecvata pentru offroad. Studiez. Nu prea am auzit de bine de fiabilitate la Land Rover, e o marca cu viitor cam incert si nici prea raspandita. Espero a patit asta. Nu-mi place deloc cum arata, si e o strutocamila care nu atinge nici un punct cheie. Asadar, pana la urma Wranglerul cade de pe lista, si am tras un ochi si la Nissan Patrol scurt (desi in banii astia am gasit doar masini cam hartanite si cu motoare la fel de mari). Foresterul incepe sa fie din ce in ce mai tentant dupa niste preturi cautate la ochiometru.

  11. Pajero Sport pare o optiune misto, dar cam greu de gasit pe la 15 mii. Se gaseste in schimb modelul Pajero Pinin, care pare sa nu fie insa acelasi drac. Ie-te ca de Forester uitasem, desi il studiasem acu' vreo 2 ani. E buna si varianta asta de studiat, multam'

  13. In urma pataniei bietului Espero, pentru care n-am decat cuvinte de lauda, am inceput sa ma uit de o alta masina. Cereri generale: - sasiu mai zdravan, pentru a nu mai plange la fiecare groapa si crater din soselele patriei - garda mai inalta decat un turism, pentru ca va fi nevoie sa treaca si pe drumuri din sate unde primariile n-au auzit de tehnologia asfaltului (noroaie, drumuri de pamant, pante si rampe mai serioase, etc) - sa nu fie prea mare, pentru ca va fi folosit destul de mult urban; deci foarte preferabil 2 usi si ceva portbagaj, sa fie - noua sau nu mai veche de 5 ani - pret undeva intre 10-15 mii euro Pe ce-am pus eu ochii pana acum: 1. Suzuki Jimny Pro: capacitati excelente de offroad (bate si Vitara la offroad, chestie recunoscuta de Suzuki), sasiu independent de caroserie, multe posibilitati de modificare (inaltare, etc), usoara, manevrabila, mica, varianta decapotabila. Accesibila de noua, e 14000 cu toate taxele acum pentru benzinara de 1.3. Contra: motoare micute (la noi se vinde doar cu 1.3 benzina, in afara exista si 1.5 diesel care mi se pare mai potrivit, desi in ambele variante nu sare de 130 km/h viteza maxima), se pare ca-i cam mic in interior, pareri disputate referitor la comportamentul stradal. 2. Suzuki Vitara (ala scurt) Pro: sasiu mai adaptat pentru strada, suficient de modificabil si asta, mai mare, motoare mai ok (1.6 benzina si 1.9 diesel). Contra: in afara ca bate in capatul superior de pret, nu prea am gasit. 3. Jeep Wrangler Pro: imi place mult modelul, motorizare rezonabila (2.4 benzina), decapotabila, buna pe offroad, la fel de modificabila. Contra: interior cam spartan, iar in gama asta de pret nu se gasesc decat euro 3, si taxa de inmatriculare la 2.4 benzina din 2005 vine la vreo 3-4000 mii euro. Probabil si intretinere in alta gama de pret decat Suzukiurile. M-am mai uitat (si-am eliminat): Lada/Chevrolet Niva (din cauze de fiabilitate si multe dotari standard lipsa), Nissan Patrol (prea scump). Alte idei, pareri ?

GM To Be First Major U.S. Automaker to Manufacture Electric Motors WASHINGTON – GM will expand its in-house electric vehicle development capabilities by becoming the first major U.S. automaker to design and manufacture electric motors, a core technology for hybrids and electric vehicles. By doing so, GM will lower costs and improve performance, quality, reliability and manufacturability of electric motors by controlling design, materials selection and production processes. The first GM-designed and built electric motors are scheduled to debut in 2013 in next-generation, rear-wheel-drive Two-mode Hybrid technology. “Electric motor innovation supported the first wave of automotive growth a century ago with the electric starter, which eliminated the need for a hand crank, and revolutionized automotive travel for the customer,” said Tom Stephens, GM vice chairman, Global Product Operations. “We think the electrification of today’s automobiles will be just as revolutionary and just as beneficial to our customers. Electric motors will play a huge role in that.” In conventional cars and trucks, automakers design and manufacture engines to efficiently use energy provided from a gas tank to provide power to the wheels. Motors and batteries, respectively, fill that role in hybrid and electric vehicles. As the range and speed of electric-only propulsion increase, so do the importance of motors and batteries. Electric vehicles are powered solely by electric motors, while hybrid vehicles also use an internal combustion engine for propulsion. GM’s next-generation rear-wheel-drive Two-mode Hybrid system will use two unique motor designs and an internal combustion engine to provide improved fuel efficiency compared with the current Two-mode Hybrid technology in GM’s full-size pickup trucks and sport-utility vehicles. “In the future, electric motors might become as important to GM as engines are now,” Stephens said. “By designing and manufacturing electric motors in-house, we can more efficiently use energy from batteries as they evolve, potentially reducing cost and weight – two significant challenges facing batteries today.” GM has been building this in-house capability for years, expanding electric motor research and development, design and validation capabilities at facilities in Michigan, Indiana and California. GM also has developed state-of-the-art math-based design and computing capacity for electric motors. The electric motors will be manufactured in the U.S. at a GM facility. GM was selected in August by the U.S. Department of Energy for a $105-million grant for the construction of U.S. manufacturing capabilities to produce electric motors and related electric drive components. “The new GM is about speed, and we are delivering quickly on the government’s desire to grow domestic expertise in electric vehicle technologies, such as batteries and electric motors,” Stephens said. Similar to today’s internal combustion engines, automotive electric motors require an unparalleled combination of exceptionally low noise, vibration and harshness (NVH); high reliability and affordability that is achievable only by understanding the entire value chain. In addition to growing in-house capabilities, GM will continue to purchase and co-design electric motors with suppliers. “This is a strategy we use today with batteries,” Stephens said. “We are partnering with suppliers to create innovations faster than ever before. Our goal is simply to establish GM as a leader in automotive electric motors.
