VAXXi Posted February 25, 2006 German Loremo AG will introduce their ultra Efficient Car at the Motor Show 2006 (site) in Geneva next week. The car start-up developed a light-weight passenger car with outstanding aerodynamics. The Loremo LS is powered by a 2 cylinder Turbo Diesel engine with 20 hp and 160km/h top speed. The amazing thing is that the Loremo only needs 1.5l per 100km. This is approx. 157MPG! The Toyota Prius hybrid has only 55MPG (combined city and highway). With one tank (20l) you could drive 1,300km. Loremo AG plans to sell the Loremo LS for less than 11,000 Euros (~$13,000). One reason for the low consumption is the low weight of 450kg. The company designed the Loremo focusing on safety and efficiency and got rid of unnecessary functions. The car is small but still provides space for 4. The design of the car is very futuristic and has for instance no conventional doors. Pai oare e mai usor decat smartul sau ticoul? Ca stiu ca astea au ~ 50cai si abia abia ating 150. VAXXi Posted February 25, 2006 http://www.loremo.com/daten.php 450 kg, 19 secunde pentru 0-100 km/h, coeficient aerodinamic 0,2 (comparativ, Espero are 0,29 iar majoritatea masinilor fara pretentii au in jur de 0,35), climatizare + computer bord + mp3 player + navi + "leder" (asta e piele ?) = 11000 euro. BogdanG Posted February 28, 2006 Foarte interesanta masina dar totusi 1.5% nu prea se poate decit in conditii speciale adica la o viteza de 90km/h pe un drum perfect drept ...si totusi ...tot e putin sau cauciucurile fac diferenta 105/70 R14 adica de bicicleta . Share this post Link to post

Dar.. incepem deja sa speculam cu consumul si nu e bine 2009 -eh mai e ceva timp Eu am ( mai exact nevasta mea) Smart diesel cu motor de 800cc si 41 de cai. Afara mananca 4l/100km daca te dai la ea (140km/h) iar in oras manaca 5l/100km fara aer conditionat in traficul asta infernal. Nu stiu cum poate o masina de 20 de cai sa atinga 160km/h?
