As a 2007 model the next generation Toyota Camry goes on sale early next year. The Camry will be larger in all dimensions than its predecessor and receive a major change in styling more along the lines of the new Avalon and the CCX Concept presented back in 2002. Continuing its onslaught of hybrid vehicles Toyota announced in May that the 2007 Camry will receive a V6 hybrid engine to compete with Honda's V6 Hybrid Accord launched last December. The longstanding 3.0 liter V6 engine will finally take a bow and make way for either a revised 3.3 liter V6 or the new 3.5 liter V6 currently found in the Avalon. Debut expected in Tokyo with sales starting in the New Year in the US. The Camry will be built in the Georgetown, Kentucky plant.

Still according to Motor Show, it will be launched by Ford do Brasil in 2007, to compete with the Chevrolet Celta (wich will be facelifted in the beginning of 2006). It's based on the ca platform (the doors are the same), but with more space in the rear seat. Total lenght=3,75m, width=1,71m. Engine will be the same 1.0 Rocam from ca/Fiesta, with 65 cv. Only 3 doors at launching, maybe 5 later. Those are pics from a 1:1 clay mock-up, subject to changes.
The B402 will fit in the Ford line between the ca and the Fiesta. Ford will drop the Brazilian ca price, to compete with the Fiat Mille (Uno), the cheapest Brazilian car currently. The ca became a niche car in Brazil, mostly because the Chevrolet Celta offers more space and the 5-door option for the same price. The B402 will try to compete with the Celta with better arguments.

To most, these mild changes may go unnoticed, but NOT to Honda enthusiasts! They tend to notice ever the smallest changes - even in a piece of trim or the color of a knob.
So, to keep them happy - we've got a few picture of the 2006 Honda Pilot. Unfortunately it's wearing a bit of camouflage to hide the changes, but we're told that minor revisions have been made front and rear fascias, as well as sporting brand new headlamps.
The revised 2006 Pilot should be at dealerships sometime this coming fall.

Tofaş has announced that it will spend 170 million euros designing and building a new 'compact' C-segment sedan in Turkey, which is scheduled to reach the market in 2007.
The announcement was made to the Turkish press by Tofaş' new CEO Alfredo Altavilla, who has only been in the job for just a week. "The company has agreed with Fiat to produce the car in its Bursa factory," Altavilla told reporters.
The Board of Directors of Tofaş AS. in fact only earlier this month appointed Altavilla to replace the incumbent Diego Avesani, who has returned to Turin where he will assume new responsibilities. Tofas AS is a joint-venture company with the shareholding split between Fiat Auto and the Turkish firm, Koç Holding, and which is listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange. Koç Holding is Turkey's largest - and oldest car maker - having established the first car factory in the country, back in 1968.
The new model will be positioned firmly in the important C-segment - which at present accounts for 48 percent of the Turkish new car market. Codenamed D200, it will superceed the current Fiat Palio and Siena models from the ever-growing 'World Car' family. As with the current models, the new car will also be assembled in Brazil and China, although Tofaş will take a leading role in the new project and it will begin rolling out of the Bursa factory before production commences anywhere else globally.
Tofaş plans to manufacture around 60,000 units of this new model per year in Turkey, with almost a third of these being destined for export. Interestingly, Tofaş claims that this 20,000 per annum number will be headed for Western Europe - implying that the new model will be designed and built to the much higher all-rounds standards demanded by discering European consumers, rather than the 'cheap and cheerful' brief that the Palio and Siena models currently adhere to.
The D200 project is the second major announcement to be made by Tofaş so far this year. Back in March, Tofas announced a new joint venture between Fiat and the Peugeot-Citroen PSA Group will see a new light commercial vehicle manufactured at its Bursa plant. This project, codenamed 'MiniCargo' will see a 350 million euro investment made. The Fiat Doblo light panel van is also manufactured in Turkey by Tofaş.

Seen here testing somewhere in the Californian desert with massive cladding is the new 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Expect official unveiling at Geneva 2007 with sales starting shortly after. Also expect the wagon to arrive 6 months later in the autumn or fall. Our sources state a cabriolet soft-top and coupe are also planned which we can only interpret as being the new CLK-Class which is also based on the same platform. Air suspension or active body control have been ruled out due to cost restraints. Base engine will be a direct injection 4-cylinder 1.8 liter with varying horsepower from 150 to 190. Horsepower for the 2.5 liter V6 and 3.5 liter V6 will be 210 to 270 respectively. AMG's 5.4-litre will be revised with new horsepower rating up from today's 360 to 400-410hp to compete with the Audi RS4 and future BMW M3. Also a 3.0 liter diesel is planned as well as the new iDrive-like operating concept found in the new S-Class. 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system will also remain available as well.

Timpul isi pune amprenta asupra oricarui model, la fel cum se intampla si cu acest model de succes de la renault. Revista l'automobile magazine are chiar o schita al rezultatului acestui facelift, pe care speram sa o vedem cat mai curand. Se pare ca acest facelift va fi efectuat in maximum un an.. :">

Masina este propulsata de 2 motoare electrice de 2KW capabile sa reincarce bateria gratie unor mici acumulatori alimentati de gaz natural. Practic datorita acestui sistem masina are o autonomie nelimitata. Bateria poate fi incarcata si de la o priza normala de 220V.
V.o.l.p.e. este gandita ca o solutie pentru orasele aglomerate. Ea poate transporta 2 persoane (soferul + un pasager care sta in spatele acestuia) si poate fi condusa (in Italia) de orice persoana depaseste 14 ani. Viteza maxima ce poate fi atinsa este de 60km/h iar costurile pentru 100 km sunt de 2.5 euro.
Cine vrea mai mult poate opta pentru V.o.l.p.e. Power care este propulsata de 2 motoare electrice cu o capacitate de 16KW. Aceasta atinge viteaza maxima de 135 km/h.
Acest studiu a fost realizat de Zagato in colaborare cu Berman (specializat in constructia elementelor de caroserie) si Crmt (centru care studiaza si produce motoare pe gaz) in scop demonstrativ. Pe viitor insa s-ar puta sa intre in productie.
