Avem un topic despre filme, insa se pare ca nu avem si despre seriale. In principal am deschis topicul pentru ca am devenit in ultima vreme fan AXN sau Hallmark. In principal AXN pentru ca au stiut sa aleaga unele dintre cele mai interesante serii care au aparut in ultima vreme pe piata:
Andromeda, un serial SF, care a mai fost difuzat si pe alte posturi, care insa imi place , din cauza a 2 personaje: Dylan Hunt (interpretat de Kevin Sorbo) si Tyr Anasazi (interpretat de Keith Hamilton Cobb). Mai ales Tyr, care in opinia mea e perfect in rolul Nietzschean-ului, care isi urmareste propriile interese, crud, calm si gata de orice. Am cam pierdut insa sirul din pacate, mai ales ca pe axn, cam le dau in salturi , nu in ordine cronologica
Michael Hayes, un serial politist, clasic insa destul de bine inchegat si mai ales bine interpretat. Mai ales de catre David Caruso in rolul unui procuror. Ce imi place la el e felul in care arata ca se intepatrund institutiile statului american si felul cum se fac targuri etc etc..
Starsky and Hutch, un serial clasic politist cu 2 politisti total diferiti la plina vedere , dar care se stiu completa reciproc. Super serialul pentru atmosfera anilor 70 pe care o degaja.
Lege si ordine iarasi un serial clasic politist.
Mai adaug la lista si babylon 5, un clasic, la care am vazut cateva episoade acum multi multi ani. Se pare ca am nimerit eu niste episoade mai nasoale, caci nu mi-a trezit interesul, desi serialul in sine este f f bun..

Cred ca ar fi interesant sa facem un topic in care sa discutam pe marginea ultimelor noutati din lumea IT, deoarce in acest domeniu noutatile pe langa ca sunt continue, apar si cu o viteza mare.
Pentru inceput voi incepe eu cu o tastatura,(numita Optimus) care nu mai are serigrafiata caracterele pe ea, ci tastele sunt mici displayuri pe care se poate afisa orice. Acest lucru duce la posibilitatea de a avea o tastutura cu caractere rusesti, chinezesti , arabe, banuiesc doar prin schimbarea unei optiuni in driver. La fel se pot schimba tastele cu scurtaturi din photoshop de exemplu..

Compania americană UPC urmează să semneze pânâ la sfârşitul săptămânii contractul de achiziţie a operatorului de cablu Astral Telecom în cadrul unei tranzacţii care se situează în jurul valorii de 420 mil. $ (circa 350 mil. euro), afirmă surse din piaţă.
Aceasta este una dintre cele mai mari tranzacţii private de pe piaţa românească.
Afacerea Astral a fost dezvoltată de la zero de un grup de oameni de afaceri din Cluj, unul dintre ei fiind Horia Ciorcilă, preşedintele Consiliului de Administraţie al Băncii Transilvania. În 2000, Astral a atras în afacere un fond de investiţii american, cu banii căruia a făcut achiziţii şi a investit în dezvoltare.
UPC este al treilea jucător pe piaţa românească de cablu. UGC Europe, deţinută de compania americană UnitedGlobalCom (UGC), va prelua treptat pachetul integral de acţiuni prin intermediul UGC Europe. De asemenea, cumpărătorul va prelua şi datoriile Astral. O parte importantă a datoriilor provine din contractarea unor credite în 2003 de la Banca Europeană pentru Reconstrucţie şi Dezvoltare (BERD) şi de la instituţia de credit olandeză FMO, valoarea împrumuturilor fiind de 7 mil. $, respectiv de 5 mil. euro. Banii astfel obţinuţi au fost folosiţi la extinderea operaţiunilor Astral, în ultima vreme realizând o campanie de achiziţii pe piaţa de profil.
Acţionarii actuali ai companiei Astral Telecom urmează să-şi facă "exit" - ul treptat din afacere, plata preţului pe pachetul de acţiuni urmând să se realizeze în mai multe tranşe , spun sursele citate.
Potrivit ultimelor informaţii disponibile, compania Astral, care se bate cu RCS pentru pozitia de lider al pieţei de cablu, este controlată de fondurile de investiţii Cresianco Limited - 34,35%, Dixon Investments Overseas Limited - 25,69%, Bridgecom Holdings Limited - 6,16%, Wordfield Limited - 7,16% şi Dealgate Trading Limited - 1,61%, precum şi de persoanele fizice Ghiţe Sorin Voicu - 3,95%, Pop Baldi Nicolae Dan - 3,95%, Urasi Bela - 3,95%, Nicola Olimpiu Valentin - 3,95%, Ciorcilă Horia - 4,29%, Goia Dorel - 1,18%, Goia Ioan - 2,1%, Oprea Mariana - 1,61% şi Meciu Eugen, sub 0,1%. Gigantul financiar american AIG deţine aproximativ un sfert din afacerea Astral, unde este prezent prin intermediul fondului de investiţii Dixon Investments Overseas Limited.
Restul acţiunilor sunt deţinute direct şi indirect de către un grup de persoane fizice, cei mai reprezentativi fiind Horia Ciorcilă, respectiv Ghiţe Sorin.
Reprezentanţii AIG şi cei ai grupului de persoane fizice nu au putut fi contactaţi până la închiderea ediţiei.
Consultanţa UGC Europe la achiziţia afacerii Astral Telecom este asigurată de către firma americană de avocatură Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, respectiv casa de avocatură românească Voicu & Filipescu. Pe partea de vânzare, au fost consultanţi firma de avocatură americană White & Case, respectiv cabinetul de avocatură Despina Fruth Oprişan.
Americanii au tatonat terenul pentru preluarea Astral încă de anul trecut, pe lista celor interesaţi fiind şi alţi investitori, în principal fonduri de investiţii europene şi americane. Interesul major pentru preluarea companiei este dat de potenţialul mare de creştere al pieţei, care ar urma să urce de circa 4 ori în următorii 4 - 5 ani.
Tranzacţia urmează să fie notificată Consiliului Concurenţei, în condiţiile în care americanii vor avea o poziţie puternică pe piaţa serviciilor de cablu. Astral Telecom controlează aproximativ 20 - 25% din piaţa serviciilor de cablu, fiind deja în discuţii pentru preluarea unui alt operator local. Americanii deţin deja o cotă de circa 10% din piaţă prin intermediul UPC România şi au circa 340.000 de clienţi, conform ultimelor date disponibile. Valoric, piaţa serviciilor de cablu este estimată în acest an la 320 mil. euro, iar cea a serviciilor de internet la peste 250 mil. euro, conform unui studiu realizat de compania de cercetare de piaţă IDC.
Astral Telecom a fost fondată în 1993 la Cluj-Napoca şi furnizează servicii de televiziune prin cablu, servicii de internet şi transmisii de date, respectiv servicii de telefonie fixă. Compania s-a dezvoltat şi s-a extins puternic, preluând în ultima vreme alte firme de pe piaţă. Firma FX Communications Bucureşti a fost preluată de către Astral împreună cu principalul său concurent, grupul RDS RCS. Recent, Astral a preluat operatorul de cablu CVR, divizia specializată a RomTelecom, iar UPC a achiziţionat operatorul de cablu TV Conex Sat Roman.
Astral a raportat în 2003 o cifră de afaceri de peste 46 mil. $ şi un profit net de 6,4 mil. $, estimările pe 2004 ale reprezentanţilor companiei vizând încasări de circa 70 mil. $.
UGC Europe are peste 8 milioane de clienţi şi o prezenţă puternică în zona centrală şi de est, în Polonia, Cehia, Ungaria şi România. Compania - mamă, UnitedGlobalCom, a realizat venituri în 2004 de circa 2,5 mld. $. Acţiunile companiei sunt listate pe Nasdaq.

Atmosfera filmului este dupa mine f f ciudata.. iar christian bale e un scheleton (la propriu)

War of the Worlds, nota 7.4, e drept varianta filmata in cinematograf, fara subtitrare la a doua parte. Filmul in primul rand NU ESTE aceea mare realizare despre care vorbesc creatorii ei. E interesant punctul de vedere pe care il exprima spielberg, insa povestea are niste gauri(nu stiu daca sunt din carte sau nu) destul de mari: nu am reusit sa pricep de ce nu au atacat pamantul cand oamenii nu reprezentau cine stie ce, cum de nu si-au dat seama de atunci de bacterii, alte arme inafara de tripozii aia nu aveau? Ca sa nu zic ca imi venea sa o bat pe copila aia ce e pusa acolo parca numai ca sa strige si sa fie un fel de responsabil cu "vorbele de duh". Filmul m-a dezamagit.. Sa vedem ce mai urmeaza pe marele ecran.. cei 4 fantastici poate..
Fete de bani gata (Uptown girls), nota 7, o comedie romantica, destul de draguta, prin prisma antagonismului initial intre un adult care e mai mult copil , si un copil care e mai mult adult. Draguta Brittaniy Murphy, o remarcasem din 8 mile, insa ca interpretare m-a impresionat Dakota Fanning, care la 11 ani interpreteaza f f bine(partea a doua ca nu mi-a placut de nici un fel in razboiul lumilor)
Cine e Michelle, nota 6, o poveste despre cum unei femei ii este furata identitatea, banii etc etc..

Eu is curios ce dimensiuni va avea 608, pt ca oricum actualul 607 era si el destul de mare(4.87 m) . Va incerca sa tina pasul cu audi a6(care a crescut si el destul de mult in lungime)?
There's a new Peugeot on the prowl, and this week's Auto Express magazine has exclusive images to prove it. The pics show the firm's forthcoming 708, designed to challenge the best from BMW, Mercedes and Audi in the executive market.
The car is set to replace the current 607, which is a slow seller in the UK, although it's more popular in mainland Europe. The 708's smooth rear has wraparound light clusters above sporty twin exhausts, while the shoulder line dips as it approaches the front of the car, giving the newcomer curved flanks similar to Mercedes' CLS.
But it's the nose that reveals the 708's true heritage. Its wide-mouthed grille and distinctive headlamps are taken straight from the 407, while the pronounced bonnet bulge draws from the recent 907 sports car concept.
Although still in development, the 708 shares its underpinnings with sister firm Citroen's C6, which was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Its luxurious interior and huge space for rear passengers give clues as to what to expect from the big Peugeot.
Comfort will be a key selling point, with electrically controlled rear seats and a host of entertainment and communication goodies. As with the Picasso opposite, Citroen's innovative lane departure warning system is likely to be standard, alongside directional headlamps.
Power will come from a choice of two V6 engines - a 2.7-litre HDI oil-burner or 3.0-litre petrol serving up 208bhp and 215bhp respectively. Each will come with a six-speed auto gearbox. The car is expected to go on sale in 2008

Hallo new Ford Fiesta! Ford is not sitting back and letting the new Renault Clio and updated VW Polo steal the limelight in the small car segment. We have exclusive spy photos of a new Fiesta.
The increasing competition in small hatch market has forced Ford to give its popular Fiesta, a new look and the facelifted car will be officially unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
However, this is no minor nip and tuck, and the 2006 Fiesta will not only feature a new face but it will get a complete new interior too.
In terms of its exterior design Ford has made prominent changes to the Fiesta's front and rear end.
The car's nose will feature new headlights and a redesigned grille to reflect that of the new Focus. At the rear there are revised taillights and a new bumper too.
Fresh sideskirts and new alloy wheels complete the changes.
The biggest changes to the car are reserved for the interior where Ford is giving the Fiesta's cabin a quality and image boost. Its interior architecture will reflect that of the Focus and in terms of fit and finish rumours have it that quality will be top notch.
The engine range is set to stay the same but apparently all models will get an updated suspension setup.
Ford will probably only launch the facelifted Fiesta locally in the first quarter of 2006.

Hyundai Motors unveiled its updated Click last week in South Korea.
The car was previewed at a race-track event, before being officially unveiled on the 15th of July.
Click (on export markets known as the Getz) was unveiled in May, 2002 and so far close to 550,000 were sold.
Now here comes the New Click, basically an update of the previous one with new grille, slightly altered rear lamps.
According to the official press release 1.4 and 1.6-liter engines will replace the 1.3- and 1.5-liter powertrains, but the fuel consumption will be aorund 9 per cent lower.
New safety equipment includes active head restraint, while convenience features now include an audio systems with steering-wheel-control.

Outwardly the Gallardo Pitòn will differ from the standard Gallardo, with the entire roof and spoiler section being finished in black, and the engine cover will be in glass. In line with this, the rear taillights will also be darkened. Six external colours will be available depending on the colour of the brake callipers. These colours are: Grigio Altair (grey callipers), Grigio Proteus (yellow callipers), Ballon White (grey callipers), Giallo Midas (yellow callipers), Arancio Borealis (grey callipers) and Verde Ithaca (grey callipers). The car will receive starfish Callisto alloy wheels (which will also feature on the Gallardo Spider) as standard fitted with Pirelli Corsa track tyres (although road tyres can also be ordered as a free option). The suspension will be lowered and stiffened and the gearbox will receive shorter ratios for faster acceleration. The back of the car will be fitted with an integrated camera on the rear spoiler to aide parking, projecting an image onto a 16:9 multimedia screen.
Stainless steel kickplates engraved with the Gallardo Pitòn script and upgraded Perseus leather upholstery (optionally perforated) will increase the equipment level over the standard Gallardo. The bi-colour theme of the exterior will also continue inside with stitching, piping, carpet borders and leather inlays following the main exterior colour. To make the Pitòn even more unique, there is the possibility to engrave the name of the owner in the cars identification plate (not available with the optional Smokers Package).
Performance of the Pitòn is breathtaking, with the 0-100 km/h dash coming up in 3.95 seconds. Top speed lies at 315 km/h. Despite being a sportier and faster version of the Gallardo, the Pitòn will be heavier than the standard coupé with a dry weight of 1,430 kg. Around 250 examples of the Gallardo Pitòn will be built and priced at around 10.5% higher than the standard Gallardo (around $200.000).
