Desperate, Cielo User Mannual

Please, I'm getting desperate, I've been looking for a service mannual / owner's manual for Cielo 1997 GL Sedan for over months and still got nothing. Could someone, please let me know where I can find one? Please, English version - all I found so far are in Romanian language which I don't have a single clue of. Thanks A lot

You'll find at the previous link some part catalogues, in English, but the user/service manuals are Romanian though.

 

Are you looking for anything in particular, in these manuals ? maybe we can translate some paragraphs/pages for you, if you have a problem with your car.

Thank you very much both USKT2005 and VAXXi, for prompt and heartful response!!

 

I actually looked into all the links you've recommended before I posted my message, and just as VAXXi said only part of them are in English and it did not help very much. The fact is, this Daewoo Cielo is my first car, I bought it a few months back and keen to know more about cars. My intention is to understand cars and be able to service the car by myself. I'm a handy man with mechanics and tools, so it won't be difficult to do it with adequate knowledge that I presume the owner's manual / service manual be the source of such knowledge of the kind. So for that reason, the dictionary option is a bit operationally unpractical, but thanks all the same.

 

Knowing these, any suggestions?

here's something i think is absolutely necessary to know, so i'll translate what's written there to my best.

page 82 (out of 95) of the user's manual (manual de utilizare.pdf) is about the vehicle's maintanance periods.

 

on top left :o peration \ interval (thousands of kilometers or time in months, whichever occurs first)

then the top two rows are the intervals:

x1000 km 1 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 100 (thousands of kilometres)

months - 6 12 18 24 30 36 42 48 54 60

then on your left column:

 

transmission belts

engine oil and oil filter

cooling system

cooling fluid

fuel filter

fuel ducts and conections

air filter

ignition tuning

spark plugs

distributor cap (and rotor?)

fuel vapors' canister and related

!!!something i do not understand, related to where engine oil resides

distribution belt

 

V - means verify and replace if necessary

S - means replace

(1) if the vehicle is used in rought circumstances - city driving, a lot of idle-ing, dusty areas, replace engine oil at 5000 km or 3 months, whichever occurs first

(2) maintain at shorter intervals if in a dusty area

(3) only use manufacturer recommended products
