Leganza Cdx Bad Exhaust Smell.

Dear All, my leganza does only 3 KM per liter, this is very bad, and I am having Bad fuel smell in my silencer. is there any thing that i can do,

 

One nice forum told me to change CO sensor, but right after that my Check Engine came. So i correct it, but still its same. i saw some Vacuum hoses are just open on my engine. So if some one send me some close pictures, so that i can correct it vacuum system.

 

My ideal shows me 900-1000RPMs is it ok?

 

this is Manual 2000CC DoHC Engine 1999 Brand.

Where are the pictures ?

I cannot see them. your car was subjected to an analysys with a engine scanner ?

We need more information.

The link is not faulty here you go those pictures it is an archive with 22 pictures, and i think master Ovi can handle it...

Hi Guys,

this is great, please find those pics and help me, I reset battary too. but nothing happen. please master Ovi Help me. what can i do to get a good fuel usage.

 

now its 3 KM per liter = 12KM per galoon

Have you checked if your gas tank has a leak? Or maybe some tube? Your consumtion is way too bad to be caused only by a faulty sensor. It is too big also for driving only in the first gear.

i do not drive on first gear, but i do not know how to check sensor, and Gas tank? i check to reach Tank thru back side wher spear wheel, but its all closed. cant sea the tank.

 

Please advice.

You should check for gas under the car.

 

As for the tank, it is under the rear seats. You have to raise them to get to the tank. It's not the case here though.

After all the vacuum hoses are ok is necessary an ECM reset and an ajusting of the injection potentiometer on the gas analyser.

Hi ovi_jer,

 

You do not know how much value those pics to me with your guide lines, its a great help. THNAKS A LOT!!!

 

i change whole hoses as your guide, now it increase fuel use by 1.5 KM, well its not bad as i had very less fuel consumption (3KM per Liter).

 

after all these now my RPM gone down to 1000-900 RPM.

 

But how can i reset ECM and ajust the injection potentiometer? please advice me.

hi guys,

 

i did the scaner but No errors. and they remove and clean my IAC and fixed and now my Idle is ok. but still my check engine light is on.

 

what i should do next. scanner said no errors found.

 

please help.

If check engine is on, errors must be read by scaner!

Hi guys,

 

i reset the ECU but still the same what i notice is when i race the accelarator, my CHK engine light goes off and when a idle mode it agains pop up.

 

any suggestions??

what is TPS senzor? where is it locate i am not a good technicale person sorry. can you please show me a pic or tell me wher is it? .

Is on the throtle axle, on opposite the throtle cable. If you loose the two screws that fix the TPS sensor, try rotate it conterclock wise, fix the screws back and check if the check engine is on after that
