Recommended Posts

Hello everybody,

I got this problem in my transmission when i switch on my ignition, ive noticed that the power lamp in the dashboard is blinking, i ignored at once when i drive my espero only i notice that there is no power it move very slow there is no power. is anybody here can help what shall i do? my mechanic told me that there is an internal leakage and i have to overhaul it, what do you think guys is it posible that the problem is be solve by overhauling it? and is it posible if i will convert or change my transmission from automatic to manual? hope somebody can help.

The problem with power lamp is blinking is because the ECM detects low resistance in controlling position of the TPS, which makes measuring a drop of voltage through the TPS.

Check if this starts to happen when the foot off the accelerator

When this happens control of the transmission connects the fourth speed. You can lead by making changes maualmente (L, 3, D), to obtain power.

When reading the codes fault probably lies the code 21.

There are several options:

1. Check the connector TPS, checking who is well connected.

1. Try to give the engine ignition treading a little (very little) the accelerator, keeping the engine at 1200 rpm for a few seconds. After release the accelerator. If titilar power begins to try to move the screw adjustment of the minimum position of TPS quarter or half-lap back, trying to climb the minimum speed. THE ECM corrects for that engine rpm are 850. This increases the minimum resistance that reads the ECM and stops titilar signal power.

2. Another possible cause is that the battery this by completing their useful life and the voltage is something less than 12V, thereby feeding TPS receives less voltage and therefore gives less reading of resistance, Try to change the battery, demanding pay battery with very little use.

This also ocerre when the weather is very cold. By heating the engine eliminates the damage.

We send a portion of the repair manual that can help
